I've lived in the desert for most of my life and these specific paintings are of plants from my own yard in the desert. They kind of feel like family portraits. Are you the sort that gets all emotionally entangled with your plant relationships? Ha! I just love this set so much, they launched a chapter of my art career, so they reside in a special place for me.
